We have received a report of packages gone missing from a residence after being delivered. Since it is the Holiday Season, there has been an increase in traffic coming through The Peninsula: deliveries, construction, guests, pecan pickers, etc. We must be extra vigilant in ensuring a continued safe community. If you see something suspicious please report it to the proper authorities and to a board member. Also, if at all possible, try to get a license plate or photo to aid in any investigations. Our neighborhood continues to be one of the safest in the area due in large part by neighbors keeping an eye out for each other. Together we can help make it a safe and wonderful Holiday for us all.

Holiday Party - Saturday, December 13

We had 42 neighbors join us for an exciting holiday celebration at Randy and Sandra Watson’s house on Delmarva. Enjoy a short slideshow of some of the special moments.  Welcome to many of newer neighbors who joined in on the fun:

  • Jan Boggan & Weldon Henson (Delmarva)

  • Linda & Dan Keller (Yucatan)

  • Maureen & Terri LeBoeuf (Yucatan)

  • Vicki & Quay Parker (W Baja)

  • Dee & Mike Walker (E Scandinavian)

Thank you Randy & Sandra for hosting and getting us all into the holiday spirit!  Your decorations were festive and fun!  We all loved the welcoming Santa bear!

Holiday Decorations in the Neighborhood

Front Gate

Thank you to Patsy Newsom, Terri Olsen, Maureen LeBoeuf and Vivian Flusche for decorating the front gate with beautiful wreaths and garland. They look great!

Neighborhood Houses

I’m not sure about you, but it brings a smile to my face seeing all of the neighbors who have decorated the outside of their houses for the holiday season. It seems like even more people this year have gotten into the holiday spirit. I appreciate all of your efforts and look forward to driving up and down the streets looking at everyone’s creative touches.

Best Wishes

Lastly, the Peninsula Board of Directors wants to wish you all happiness this Holiday Season and throughout the coming year!
